Caroline's 1st Dance Recital
OK, so I realize that I have neglected my blogging duties and I am going to attempt to catch up for the major things that happenend this summer. This post is for Caroline's very first Dance recital that was the weekend of June 5th/6th. She was in a Tap/Ballet combo class so she had 2 performing numbers. She did an awesome job. I thought she would get stage fright...but she loves dance and didn't get too scared up there.

Caroline's 5th Birthday Catching Up
OK..OK...I know that I am bad at blogging. Caroline's Birthday was actually May 12th and we had her party on May 9th. She had a Tinkerbell themed party and Here are a few pictures.
Many many kids from her school came and a few others. They played on the Skyfort, painted wands and ate pizza andTinkerbell cake.

Sky Fort
Ta DA!!!
Here it is. This was part of Caroline's Birthday (and Sophie to use.) I will publish birthday pictures later. It took Chuck 24 daylight hours to complete putting this together from the ground up. It is a kit from SAMS.
It is about 13 feet tall and 20something feet long. The fence is 6 feet if that gives you any perspective.
Man loves his kids!!!!!

March 2009 Cabin Trip
Well, I am finally updating some past activities into the blog.
The week of St. Patrick's day was Spring Break. Angie and I met at the Cabit with our girls. They had such a good time. We watched movies and ate popcorn every night. The girls were dirty and played outside in the dirt and on the rope swing. We had a campfire 2 times and roasted wienies for hotdogs and marshmallows for smores. Grandpappy and Mama Leslie came by for a day and it was a treat to see them. We all had such a good time. I am looking forward to doing it again soon this summer. I am NOT waiting 15 years like I did before to return to the Fish Camp.

January/February Update
Well, other than losing my Job in Janurary, we have had lots of fun with the girls. We went to the park a couple of times and the zoo. The girls are growing up so fast. Caroline is really enjoying school and just got an excellent report the other day from her teacher. She is doing 1st Grade work and she isn't even 5 yet. Her behaviour with the sticker charts has been great. She gets to choose the family activity almost every week now and has even earned $10 a few times by getting ALL of her stickers.
Sophie is talking a little bit more. She says Sarah now (Sawah) and Caroline (Ka-ine). She love to read books and have Caroline read to her. She walks around with her purses all of the time and is starting to make more Animal sounds.
Here are a few pictures from the last month or so.

Sophie's head after a fall...don't worry, it is all healed up now.
