Christmas 2009
We went over to Bobbie's house for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. The girls had a great time playing (kind of) the piano and with all of their new toys. We, of course, had Christmas morning coffee cake and hot chocolate when we woke up. Yum.

Sophie's Second Birthday
"I had a Bunny cake....I ate the ears!!""
We had Sophie's party a few days earlier than her birthday. My parents were able to come into town and Bobbie came over as well. Sophie had a great time opening presents and was thrilled with her Bunny cake.
Although everyone got lots of wonderful presents for her, the hit of the day was the Babydoll from Grandma Bobbie. She opened it and then wanted to play with it. We told her that she had to open more gifts. So she would open another gift and then go ask Mama Leslie "Can I have the baby now?"
She would take the baby, hold her up and say "I have a a new baby."
She still LOVES that doll.

Late Fall 2009
We had some great fall weather for a few weeks in November. We were able to go to the park a few times and spend many many afternoons in the backyard playing on the skyfort. I had to rake leaves many times due to the Pecan trees we have...and Sophie "tried" to help rake the leaves. Here are a few pictures of the girls.

Halloween 2009
Here are a few shots from Halloween this year. Caroline was Little Bo Peep and Sophie was her sheep. We went to Caroline's School Halloween party on the 30th and then on the 31st we went Trick or treating with some of her friends from school and such at another party. She has so much fun trick or treating. Sophie went with Daddy to Grandma Bobbie's house to pass out candy and was VERY excited that Daddy let her have a tootsie pop all by herself.

"The Farm" October 2009
A few weeks ago, I was able to take the kids to visit Mama Leslie and Pappy Joe for a couple of days. My sister, Lori Ann, was there with her 2 girls...one of which is a new baby. Elise was only 3 weeks old at the time and my girls LOVED her. They especially loved that Aunt Lori would let them "hold" her....with help of course. We played outside alot. The weather was beautiful. Hopefully we will get to go back in a month or so.
Sophie enjoyed pushing Bethany around in the stroller.
