Playdoh

Last summer when Aunt Angie watched Caroline for Chuck and I while we went to Pennsylvania, Caroline got turned on to playdoh. Apparently this is the only activity she wanted to do at Kiddie Kamp last summer. Today she made an octopus with purple spots so we took pictues. She still loves playdoh.

Rice Cereal Beginnings

This past week we finally started Sophie on rice cereal. She absolutely doesn't like it. Sarah has been working with her all week to eat it. I actually bought some rice cereal with apple at the store this weekend and she doesn't like that either. I guess we will try some peas or something in the next few days.
Here is a progression of her faces during the first bite.

Chillin in my highchair

Ack! What's this?

Kinda wierd...

Mommy, don't you love me?

I love my Girls

We had a really nice lunch a few weeks ago for Mother's Day. Chuck took us to this really nice Italian restaurant in the Hill Country. It looks like Italy and the food is wonderful. I particularly like their Cinnamon Gelato. Bobbie and Elise came with us and we all had a really good time. Caroline and Sophie had a blast. Caroline was making Sophie giggle giggle giggle. Here are a few pictures of me and my girls.
I LOVE being their Mommy.

I was Tagged

Angie tagged me a few days ago.

Rules:A. Post the rules.
B. Answer all the questions about yourself.
C. After you are done posting, tag 5 people.
Because my Blog friend list is so short, I am only going to tag one person, Annie.

1. What I was doing 10 years ago: Pretty much the same thing as now but with no children. I am soooo predictable. Chuck and I were married, living in New Braunfels...AND I was working at Grande (it was Thrifty Call then.) I have worked there for almost 11 years now.
2. 5 things on my "to do" list today: Well, I blog at the end of the day so my day is pretty much over. So, watch TV, finish cookies for Caroline to take to school tomorrow, wash my face, OCD and check all of the door locks...and then go to bed.
3. Snacks I enjoy: pretzels, chips, pretzels covered in chocolate, graham crackers covered in chocolate, and anything else covered in chocolate.
4. What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire: same as Angie...bank it...maybe buy a house.
5. 3 bad habits: finish people's sentences (Angie, I think all Williamson girls do this), pick my cuticles, I am overly self critical.
6. 5 places I've lived: Vidor, TX; Provo, UT; Austin, TX; 2 places in New Braunfels, TX.
7. 5 jobs I've had: Secretary (in High School),Bakery (in College),Dillard's, Texas Department of Insurance, Grande Communications Network Analyst.
8. 5 things people don't know about me: I like to go to Drag Races, Just about any movie makes me cry, I stress bake, I procastinate on projects (ie. stay up all night Christmas eve making Santas), I LOVE American History.....and I have a 6th one....I can Tat.

Grandparent Visit

This is late and I am just now catching up this weekend.....but Mom and Dad came to visit last weekend for the day and the girls had a great time seeing them....as usual. Sophie really takes to Mom. Mom and Dad bought Caroline a beautiful, porcelain, Bell doll. She loves it and much to my surprise is very careful with it. They also got her the Bella Dancerella DVD. Sarah and Caroline began dancing to it this past week.

Caroline's 4th Birthday Party

Saturday at 12:30 we celebrated Caroline's 4th Birthday at the Mckenna Children's Museum. Her Birthday isn't until Monday the 12th, but we celebrated early. About 16 or 17 children (mostly from school) came and Caroline had a ball. We had pizza and cake and then the kids ran off to play and bounce off the walls in the museum. It has some really neat interactive exhibits (yea Daddy for the Museum party idea). I think that everyone had a great time. I was glad that Caroline had fun, but I was also excited that my anxiety over making the requested cake got to be over with finally.
After the party, we came back to the house to open all of her presents.
Here are quite a few pictures.

Sand and Water Days

I haven't had much to post the last week or so and then this weekend hit. We have tons of stuff to post. This past Friday was Sand and Water day at school. The kids go to school in their swimming suit and water shoes and play in the little kid pools and sandbox all morning. Caroline was so excited and had a great time. They plan to do the same thing next Friday also.
