Sisterly Love

Caroline just loves Sophie. I thought these pictures were cute. In one of them it looks like they are hugging. Sophie has an affinity for Caroline as well. She loves to watch her play and see what she is doing. Sophie and I watch Caroline eat breakfast each morning and if I am standing with Sophie, she is always trying to peek down over my shoulder or turn her head to see what Caroline is up to.

Sophie's Burpee

This is how Sophie likes to sleep....with a burpee completely covering her face. I promise I don't do this to her and when she falls asleep I try to make a hole for her face. She loves to shake her burpee, eat her burpee, etc. I think it is her favorite thing.
As you can see, we still have her sleeping in her bouncy seat. She sleeps all night this way. Unfortunately, if she is on her back for long, she either throws up or gets really really congested. The Doctor says no big deal that she isn't sleeping in a bed. The only issue we are having is that she is not flat long enough to learn how to roll over yet.

Sophie at 4 Months

We had Sophie's 4 month appointment was this past Tuesday. She had to get 3 shots and it was very very sad. I like it when Daddy has to take her to the Doctor so I don't have to hear the trauma. She now weighs 15 punds 7.5 ounces and is 25.5 inches long. The Doctor said that she is doing great. We will probably try her on rice cereal in a few days.
Here are a few pictures I took the other day that I think are neat. I just think she is beautiful and love to stare at her picture while I am at work.

Super Daddy

Here are a couple of pictures of Daddy with the girls. He really is such a help and I couldn't do this Mommy thing without him. Sophie goes to work with Daddy every day and he picks up Caroline from school once a week. He brings Sophie home from the Gym around noon every day and gets her settled in with the Sarah.
One of these is a picture of Sophie's first trainride at the Zoo on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day and the girls had a good time. (No, we did not leave the baby on the seat by herself....Mommy sat by her and held the seat)
GO DADDY! We love you!

Cousin Annie's Visit

Well, I am a week behind. Last weekend, Annie came over for dinner with Novie. They were down visiting for a few days from Boston. It was great to catch up with Annie and hear what has been going on in her life. Caroline really really liked Novie.

The Last Few Weeks

So I know that I haven't posted lately. Basically, life is the same....work, sleep, play with kids, work, etc. I fell about 1 3/4 weeks ago while walking across a wet parking lot in really high shoes. I sprained my foot really bad. I started seeing Chuck's Arrosti Voodoo guy and I have had amazing progress. I went in on crutches and walked out last Monday and have been to see hime 2 more times. I still have some pain but it is isolated to 1 spot that we believe I either fractured or have a really bad bone bruise from jamming it. So, the Deanna clumsiness continues (of course I blame Mother 100%.)

Sophie and Caroline are doing great and I will post new pictures soon. Caroline had her very first field trip a few weeks ago and then yesterday had her second. Yesterday they went to Wonderworld Cave in San Marcos. Apparently they saw rocks in the cave, lights, she fed deer, and they had a picnic lunch outside before returning to school.
We also have been attending many many birthday parties for friends at school.

Sophie has been talking ALOT lately and tries to pull up with her stomach alot. She wants to sit up sooo bad but isn't quite there yet. She can, however, hold herself up in a sitting position pretty well while holding on to your fingers. Her 4 Month appointment is on Tuesday and I will post more of an update on her after that.

See ya.
